Clean

Ensure surface is sound¹ and clear of any loose sand or cement.

Fill Holes
  • Use grouting cement to fill any holes.
3
Initial Wash
  • Wash down with water using a stiff brush to remove all loose material.
4
Remove Efflorescence
  • Wipe down with a 5% solution of acetic acid (white vinegar).
  • Hose down and allow to dry completely.

Thinning: In hot conditions or highly absorbent surfaces, thin the coat with up to 10% water.

Durability on horizontal surfaces will depend on wear and weather. Colour fading may occur in areas exposed to heavy foot traffic or excessive weather. Reapply coating as colour changes or as water resistance diminishes. Follow surface preparation instructions. As a guide, it is recommended to conduct a routine maintenance inspection and recoat as soon as the coating shows signs of deterioration. Additional maintenance may be required for extreme conditions.
