Cabot's Danish Oil
Cabot's Danish Oil is an easy to apply oil for all interior furniture, doors, windows and trim. Applying danish oil will protect your timber whilst enhance the natural grain, leaving an abrasion resistant finish.

Hot tip!
Sand the surface smooth using 180 - 240 grit sandpaper. Sand only in the direction of the grain. Remove all traces of sanding dust.
Remove back to bare timber using a paint stripper or sanding. Remove all traces of sanding dust.
Do not apply this product if the temperature is below 10°C or above 35°C.
How to Restore Your Interior Timber Furniture
Hot tip!
- Use a broad, flat paddle to stir the product thoroughly before and during use to ensure even consistency.
- Apply a full, even coat using a brush, roller, or rag.
- Let the first coat dry for 8 hours.
- Lightly sand the surface with 240 grit sandpaper.
- Make sure to remove all sanding dust before proceeding.
- Use the same method as above.
- Apply another coat of Danish Oil if required.
- Allow 8 hours drying time between coats.
- Lightly sand between coats using 240 grit sandpaper.
When the finish appears tired or dull, it's time for a re-coat.
- Use Cabot's Floor Clean, following the label instructions, to thoroughly clean the surface.
- Lightly sand the surface with 240 grit sandpaper.
- Remove all traces of sanding dust before proceeding.
- Apply 1–2 coats of Cabot's Danish Oil, following the label instructions for best results.
