How to bring your deck to life

The timber is new and bare

For timber that’s brand new, apply our New Timber Prep to draw out tannins and oils quickly from the surface. This will allow the 4-6 weeks weathering process to be skipped. Because who has time for that! Always follow our New Timber Prep with our Deck Clean. Once your deck is dry, apply Aquadeck.

Aquadeck was previously used and the coating is in good condition

If the existing coating is still in good condition, there’s no need to sand, strip, undertake a water bead test, or use a power washer#. Just prep with our Deck Clean before applying Aquadeck. Simple!

The exisitng coating is uneven or a different colour

If the existing coating has deteriorated unevenly or is a darker colour than the chosen Aquadeck finish, it’s recommended to remove all existing coating first, then clean with our New Timber Prep, followed by our Deck Clean. Once dry, a few coats of Aquadeck will have your deck looking good as new!

Weathered and grey timber

For timber that’s seen a few trips around the sun, prep is key. Use Deck Clean to revitalise the timber. Wait for your deck to dry before applying Aquadeck and look over your deck transformation with pride.
