How should the applicator bottle be stored after use, and what is the shelf life of the leftover coating?

The applicator bottle should be removed from the applicator and stored with the original cap (not dispensing nozzle) in an upright position in a cool place. If stored properly, the shelf life of the coating will not be compromised (i.e. 5+ years from date of manufacture).
