The Story of Karulbo, Cabot's Symbolic Artwork

In a world that constantly evolves, we have taken a thoughtful approach to honouring tradition and values. This sentiment came to life as 'Karulbo', a masterpiece that serves as a deep and heartfelt homage to Australia's vibrant Aboriginal culture.

The journey began when our team recognised the importance of paying homage to the traditional custodians of the land on which we operate. Seeking to embody this respect in a tangible form, we embarked on a collaborative journey with the gifted Aboriginal artist Waylene Currie from WRLC Arts. The result was 'Karulbo', a poignant artwork that beautifully encapsulates Cabot's purpose, vision, and values.

The significance of 'Karulbo' goes beyond its visual appeal. The word, 'all together,' resonates deeply with Cabot's commitment to unity, collaboration, and care. This remarkable piece represents our dedication to fostering teamwork, mutual support, and a profound sense of responsibility towards our employees, customers, and the environment. It stands as a proud symbol of Cabot's unwavering ethos.

As a testament to its significance, 'Karulbo' will proudly adorn Cabot's head office in Clayton, as well as our state offices across the country. It will serve as a constant and unwavering reminder, a beacon of our enduring pledge, to honour tradition, promote inclusivity, and uphold the values that define our identity.
